Domain Registration & Hosting
We are able to register domains on behalf of clients who do not have their own websites, and these are, in most cases, names reflecting their company or business type. Domain extensions include .co.uk, .com, .net, .tv, .org.
It is not always possible to find an available domain name to match the business name, but every effort will be made to find one that is suitably representative.
Costs for domain names vary according to the extension, but start from as little as £15 for 2 years (.co.uk) to £20 per year (.com & .net).
A nominal charge will be made for searching for suitable names where the actual company name has already been allocated by Internic or Nominet. All domains are registered to the client, giving them 100% ownership of the domain. Valleys Web Design merely act as an agent on the client's behalf, and retain no lien or ownership of domain names, so the client retains absolute control as to where he/she wishes to host their domain.

Features such as CGI Bin, css, Java Script, php, HTTPS(Secure), flash, and data-driven applications such as MySQL are all available at reasonable rates, giving our clients the ability to run a complete online business with shopping basket and secure transaction processing facilities, using a variety of online credit card processing organizations using encrypted transaction software. This gives our clients peace of mind, in the knowledge that all transactions are secure and guaranteed by some of the World's largest Credit Card providers (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc).
Although we will happily construct your website, should you have a catalogue in excess of 50 or so items, we would recommend that clients maintain their databases personally, making them more dynamic and up to date. For security, HTTPS areas of clients websites are the personal responsibility of whoever administers the client's sales and returns departments.
